
David Dixon was a senior Fundraising Manager at Oxfam before joining the Oxford Playhouse Theatre as Development Director in 1991. At the Playhouse he pioneered fundraising techniques which were new to the cultural sector and in 1993 he set up David Dixon Associates to bring these techniques to the wider cultural and heritage sector in the UK, and later in other European countries.
In 1997 he established The Phone Room, one of the UK’s leading Charity Telephone Fundraising Agencies and is now a leading international global fundraising consultant through his company David Dixon Associates. David speaks Spanish and German and is a regular speaker at conferences around Europe and often writes for arts and charity fundraising magazines.

With 20 year experience in senior management in both the Commercial and NFP Sectors and having set up and run a successful international brand, Vanessa brings exceptional experience of business process management and engineering to the team.
Having spent 7 years managing The Phone Room, one the UK’s leading telephone fundraising agencies and previously as Supporter Communications Manager for Oxfam, Vanessa also has a wide breadth of experience in working with UK and US based Charities and Supporters to achieve campaign and organisational goals.

Whilst at the BBC, Euan pioneered the use of weblogs, wikis and online forums to enable staff to work more collaboratively across the organisation. Euan also worked on the BBC’s award winning leadership programme, gaining experience in how to engage and inspire people with the possibilities of social computing as a business tool.
He is now independent advisor on social computing for business, and a well known writer, thinker and public speaker. His unique experience enables him to provide inspiration on this wired-up world of work and strategies for how business can prepare themselves for the challenges and opportunities presented by new technologies.

An experienced social media strategist and word of mouth marketer with 3 years of experience with 1000heads, Sylwia previously worked for Cemex, TATA and Nokia. She is transferring her word of mouth marketing experience with leading brands like Nokia, Toshiba, Castrol in several regions of the world to the next level.
Applying methodology of Institute of Business Ethics in London she is contributing to conferences and social media events with her insights on social media ethics and transparency. She is also using her social media expertise to contribute to activist work of Global Voices Online and well as fundraising projects like Twestival. Interested in freedom of speech, she is developing the goals of Barcamp Transparency UK, currently contributing to Technology for Transparency Network.

Nick is an experienced charity professional and fundraiser. He’s currently holds a trusteeship and is involved in every aspect of campaigning for Men Get Eating Disorders Too which is the only charity set up specifically for Men with Eating Disorders, and a winner of awards for it’s digital campaigning and outreach. He also works with several other small charities in an advisory capacity. Nick’s experience in healthcare and youth extends to specialist communication online with young people and service users helping to achieve maximum engagement.
